Four Itchy Feet

Once you decide your life will be constant travel, you must identify a place where you can go on a regular basis to receive routine medical care. Ideally, you’ll choose one location to keep your medical records accessible to your providers and maintain a historical baseline for any ongoing conditions.

We return to Northern Virginia once or twice a year for this purpose. Inova and Johns Hopkins offer excellent medical services, and we have used them for years. This time, it was my left knee. After two surgeries many years ago, I require a cortisone shot to keep me going for the next six months to a year. We have exciting hiking plans for 2025, and having strong knees will be critical.
