January 24, 2025. Sendero Llao-Llao, San Carlos de Bariloche, Argentina.
Today we visited the Llao Llao Municipal Park. We embarked on the Sendero Llao Llao, a relatively easy 3.2-mile roundtrip hike. The trail led us to a breathtaking view of the Roca del Indio Acostado (Rock of the Sleeping Indian) and Isla Victoria, the largest island in the vast Lago Nahuel Huapi.
Once we reached the summit, we lingered to soak in the stunning scenery. I even tried to capture this magnificent vista in watercolors, but I simply couldn’t do it justice.
We enjoyed an easy hike back and drove to our Airbnb, where we reflected on the awe-inspiring beauty of this remarkable place.
