Four Itchy Feet

May 8, 2025. North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Today, we got up early to once again play at Beachwood Golf Club in North Myrtle Beach. We had such a good time yesterday that we returned for more. The always welcoming staff got us ready, and before the sun was completely over the horizon, we were teeing off. Freshly cut grass smell in the air, the coolness of the morning inspired me, perhaps today I could surpass my best game ever from yesterday.  I felt daring, I moved back to the white tees for the first nine holes, but scored six strokes higher. Barbara also did a bit worse, recording three extra strokes compared to yesterday’s round.

We played the first nine holes rather quickly, but by the turn, play slowed down, and we were joined by Jim and Shoney. After scoring 46 on the first nine I moved forward to the gold tees with Jim.  They were a blast to play with and offered great conversation as we waited for the groups ahead to play. Overall, we had a great time. Beachwood Golf Club once again provided us with excellent entertainment and the company of wonderful golfers. We can’t wait to return.
