Four Itchy Feet

Today marked our first annual Mother’s Day family golf tournament at Langston Golf Club in Washington, D.C. The match pitted mother and son against grandpa and grandson in an 18-hole best ball format. It was a glorious day; the sunny weather and barely 65-degree temperature created perfect playing conditions. We teed off at 3 p.m. and competed fiercely throughout the round, but ultimately, grandpa and grandson emerged victorious. It was a fantastic family day, which we capped off with burgers on our son’s apartment terrace, offering a lovely view of the Capitol Building and the Washington Monument.
